This is a family run establishment (mother and son). They aim to please and they succeed. We were two families and they set us up in a flat with a common area just up the road. It was perfect for us. The morning breakfast was all home cooked and delicious with fresh squeezed orange juice. They had a special New Year's Dinner that was spectacular.
The location is not directly in the city center, but if you are a walker, then it is not a big deal and you get a lovely view and a fabulous orange and lemon orchard. You get the feeling that these folks will help you with any itinerary or desire you have.

This is a very beautiful location, it's been a while since we went thanks to my brothers organising.
It was truly the most welcoming experience we have had , and we have stayed in many hotels, Pasquale and Maria are wonderful hosts, and Maria makes the best pastiera in the world.
This is one place we will attend again.
We will revisit you in 2011.

“Refreshing Change"
Anything we had read about Oriana did not do it justice. Our only regret was that we did not visit there during the summer, it must be really beautiful there then. However, despite the weather, we really enjoyed our stay . The thought of the beautiful breakfast was a reason to get out of bed. The staff could not do enough from the moment we arrived. We were warmly greeted at the door and brought to the dining area where the fabulous view of the Bay of Naples awaited us, and a delicious glass of thier own limoncelo. The grounds are really nice, with lemon trees, olive trees and orange trees. The rooms were spotless clean and that power shower was great .Will definitely come back again.

“A taste of paradise!!
Although slightly away from the buzz of Sorrento, the Villa Oriana has an enviable location on a hill overlooking the whole bay of Naples. The breakfasts are something else and the staff go out of their way to help - lifts, free bus tickets, restaurant pick up and drop off service and they always have a ready smile. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with luxurious bathrooms and views from the balcony. We would definitely return and feel the Villa offers excellent value.

Surely the nicest place to stay in Sorrento.
We stayed at Villa Oriana Relais for 4 nights and loved it. The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating; Elio even drove us into town so we could catch a ferry to Capri.
The breakfast is something else - I especially loved the tomatoes. And of course the views from the breakfast table over the bay of Naples are stunning. Our room was nice and clean and had a terrace with sea-view. The shower appeared a bit dated and could do with some renovating.

Staying At Villa Oriana was the highlight of our recent holiday to Sorrento. A wonderful family run B&B with high standards and delightful staff. Very highly recomended.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay...We spent two nights at this upmarket bed and breakfast and were not disappointed.Having driven through the gates, you pass through the orange and lemon trees and you are met at the door and immediately offered a relaxing lemonade made fresh from the lemons in the garden. Following a very convivial check in process, tou are shown your room. Ours was very clean and had a very nice bathroom. It is likely that when you sit on the terrace overlooking the harbour, you will be introduced to some of the family members that run the hotel. If not, you are sure to meet them in the morning.Breakfast is distinctly Italian and all the better for it. Fantastic choice of homemade breads, cakes and preserves together with traditional choices. However, it is the friendliness of the staff and family that truly make this hotel what it is.We took the opportunity to visit two of these restaurants and they were very good indeed. All in all, we are very pleased that we chose the Villa Oriana Relais and would not hesitate to recommend it to other travellers.

“Best place to stay in Sorrento - absoloutly charming!”
We stayed at villa oriana for 3 nights at the end of September and didn't want to leave... the place is beautiful, surrounded bu lemon trees and facing the ocean, overlooking the town of sorrento.
The staff, headed by Elio and Maria is welcoming and extremly kind & helpful: starting with giving us a glass of homemade lemonade and homemade cake upon our arrival, continuing with giving us restaurant recommendations, and even driving us to the port to catch our boat on our day trip to Capri.
The breakfast, made by the owner Maria, is phenomenal - delicious fresh baked cakes and pies, freshly squeesed orange juice and great cofee.
The room was spacious, clean and beautiful, and we also spent some time on the beautiful sun roof (on which there is also a jacuzzi with panoramic view, but the weather did not allow us to use it this time).
We would definitely recommend it to our friends and come back for a 2nd time to Villa Oriana, and to our "new italian family" as they call themselves, proudly - and they sure deserve to be called that way.

The Best B&B in Italy
My wife and I were recently married in April and we spent our honeymoon traveling through Greece, Slovenia, France & Italy. The Villa Oriana Relais was without a doubt the best accommodations for the price. The staff is extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. They make you feel right at home from the minute you walk in the door. Instead of making you wait in the lobby while they check you in, they pour you some fresh-squeezed lemonade made from lemons picked from the orchard right on the property. You enjoy your lemonade on the balcony overlooking Sorrento and the Bay of Naples. While you get settled in your room, the staff arranges for a free car pick-up for one of the great restaurants in the area. We went to Sophia Loren's restaurant and would go back again in a heartbeat. The free breakfast is amazing as well. Everything is freshly baked by the owner and the jams and honeys are made right on the property. From beginning to end, the Villa Oriana Relais did not disappoint. We were highly impressed with the whole stay. I promise you will not be disappointed.
